Installation & compatibility

The current local candidate is for Apple Silicon Macs, tested on macOS 26.7. Earlier macOS versions and clean-machine installation are unverified. Intel Mac and Windows releases are not available.

The current engineering candidate uses the earlier Reportmaker name. For a verified release: open its disk image, copy the app into Applications, and open it there. Choose Open Workspace in its launcher. Keep the launcher open while working; Quit stops its local service.

Projects live outside the app in Library/Application Support/Reportmaker/Projects unless you choose another directory. Import Existing Projects copies complete saved folders and preserves the originals. Quit before replacing the app for an update.

Proposed support

The draft offer includes email help with installation, supported file imports, cleanup settings, and rebuilding reports within the purchased major version. Custom data repair, new parsers, and report preparation services are outside that offer. No response-time commitment is being advertised.

A verified support address and seller identity must be added before sales open. This preview has no contact form and collects no email addresses.

Useful troubleshooting details

• App version, macOS version, and the step that failed.
• For table errors, review source slot, sheet name, selected bounds, headings, and column rules.
• For formulas, save freshly calculated results in Excel and replace the source; the app does not recalculate.
• For unsupported PDFs, use an unencrypted, static, unsigned copy.
• Use Save Diagnostics in the launcher. It excludes document contents and names. Logs are separate and should be reviewed before sharing.
• Do not send private workbooks or PDFs by default. Start with the diagnostic file and a description; use a redacted sample only if agreed.

Proposed refund terms

Draft for the seller to approve before accepting payment: request a refund within 14 days of purchase using the support contact and order reference on your receipt. Refund the original payment through the checkout provider. Describe a problem if you wish; private source files are not required to make a request.

These are proposed terms for the first release. The seller must confirm the final policy, customer-facing contact, regional obligations, and provider procedure before checkout is enabled.

What the proposed $59 covers

One payment for the purchased major version, including updates within that major version. Future paid major versions are optional. No subscription or activation service is included in the current candidate. Final taxes and payment total must be shown by checkout.
